Thornton Tomasetti | CORE studio is excited to announce an expanded lineup for this year’s Tech Crawl! Join us as we visit local Engineering and Architecture Firms to tour their offices and learn about innovative processes that distinguish their practices.
This year’s Tech Crawls will conclude at the ConTech Alliance Happy Hour & Panel Discussion.

Group 1 | Lower Manhattan

Group 1 travels through the World Trade Center Memorial site to Broadway.
Group 2 | Flatiron District

Group 2 starts near Union Square, takes you past the Flatiron Building, and heads toward Madison Square Park.
GROUP 3 | Crosstown

Group 3 begins at the Starrett-Lehigh Building and includes a walk through the Highline and Hudson Yards before heading over to Bryant Park.

Starting in Dumbo, Group 4 will visit BIG & Snohetta, then take the NYC Ferry to Greenpoint to visit the Monumental Labs facility.

PANEL | Lab to Site: What Are Leading Labs Building with Additive Manufacturing?
Commercial 3D printing in construction has faced a challenging few years. Despite ICON's recent Series D announcement, many startups have struggled to scale, and investment has cooled. Meanwhile, research labs continue to push the boundaries of materials, structural systems, and fabrication methods, laying the groundwork for what might reach the jobsite next.
Join researchers from Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania, and MIT for a conversation about what's emerging from their labs, which innovations are closest to real-world applications, and what it will take to bridge the gap between research and construction.
